it seems that Sir Robert Francis has not appointed anyone who is genuinely independent of the NHS or Department of Health wherein the main problem lies. Encouraging? Not in the least.
I’ve watched it and if I worked in the NHS I would have no faith whatsoever in this ‘Independent Review’. Isn’t Sir Robert Francis also a board member at the CQC? They have learned nothing and still seem to think that NHS staff and taxpayers are mostly ESN!
Chief Executive of Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, Somerset – Jo Cubbon, Liz Redfern Chief Nurse NHS England – south – ,Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group – Director of Quality and Patient Safety – Lucy Watson and Dr. Ian Lewin Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group’s representative as Partnership Governor of Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, Somerset misleads family and the Coroner – as per evidence – into believing Dr. Ian Lewin was an independent investigator having no connection with the county or the hospital. Dr. Ian Lewin produced a dishonest report covering up the NEGLECT on Sedgemoor Ward, Musgrove Park Hospital – March/April 2013 – of Ronald William Smith DOB 14.06.1917-16.04.2013. There has to be accountability of the NEGLECT and the DECEPTION.
